Magnetic valve with core in magnetic head - has valve set formed on annular member additionally formed on magnetic core

The magnetic head core (6) has a bore and a valve seat (9) at one front side for abutment by a seating stud, associated with the magnet armature. The valve seat is formed in an annular part also secured to the magnetic core. Pref. the annular part is mounted in a recess, formed in the core front side (8) with a widening portion of greater diameter than that of the valve seat. The recess may be cylindrical, or have a relieved part. Its diameter may be the same as that of the annular part and if a relieved part is provided, it may be conical. The annular part may be soldered to the magnetic core and it may be of brass. This design provides big precision, with narrow tolerances, both for the valve seat and the magnetic core front side.
