Seed drill with disc shares - has discs 400 MM diameter by 4 MM thick

The seed drill has disc shares mounted in two rows, one behind the other, and swinging in a vertical plane, while the individual discs are at an acute angle to the travel direction. The external diameter (D) of the discs (5) is approximately 400mm and their thickness at least 4mm, while they are set at an angle (a) of 7-9 degrees to the travel direction. The discs can be individually secured to the hubs (19) by countersunk screws (18), the hubs in turn being detachable from their mountings. The screws can be of hexagon socket type.
