Manual cutter for fruit stems - has fixed upper cutter jaw held by thumb and pivoted mobile lower jaw operated by finger

The cutter comprises a fixed upper jaw (1), with a bore (8) for fitting over the thumb (7). This jaw has a pivot (5) underneath for locating a mobile lower jaw (22), the latter forming a guide to a sliding cutter (10) operated by the finger (13). This slide has a serrated cutting edge (20) and co-operates with a corresponding cutting edge on the side of the upper fixed jaw. The sliding cutter is pulled in the direction of the pivot, to cut the stem (9) of the fruit. The slide is returned by spring pressure.
