Tailgate hoist with swivel mounting - has additional ram to raise platform higher than vehicle

The servo operated tailgate hoist has the lifting platform (14) on a swivel mounting about a vertical oost (4) inside the vehicle, and with a second vertical support (7) between the swivel arms and the platform. The link to the second vertical support includes a second servo ram (6) to lift the platform higher than the floor level inside the vehicle. The platform and swivel mounting are swung out of the rear opening of the vehicle to give the second ram and vertical support unimpeded headroom to extend upwards. A swivel lock is included in the support to stabilise the extended settings.
