The solar heating system combined with a heat pump, uses a heat exchanger coil (5) connected to the heating circuit supply and return lines (11,13), immersed in an oil tank (3). Incorporated in the supply line (11) to the coil is a pump (15). A temperature sensor (21) in contact with the oil (1) is connected by a control device (19) to the pump to operate it. The tank, which is enclosed by an insulating layer (17) has an air outlet tube (33) combined with a condensate return system (25).
