Film indexing strip for reprinting - has paper strip attached to film with index markings

The reprint control strip for attaching to a processed film has the film frame index markings applied to the strip alongside order boxes in which the customer inserts the required number of copies. The indexing control is operated by the index markings stamped into the side of the film and takes account of different spacings when different films are linked into a continuous process reel. The paper strip is glued to the side of the narrow film and has a column of marked boxes along one edge. The indexing machine punches holes alongside the boxes, corresponding to the positions of the frame indexing markings on the edge of the film. The customer can easily insert the required reprint numbers in the boxes next to the markings.
