<p>The gate (1) comprises a closure member (2) which is movable (3) at right angles to the flow of the material between a fully open and a closed (as shown) position by a switchable drive motor (15). The closure member consists of a number of spaced parallel bars (4) whose ends are pointed (4a) in the direction of closure. The bars are pref. arranged in a common plane and may be secured to a crossbar (8) with nuts (10,10a) at either end engaged by screw spindles (11,11a) driven (16,16a) by the motor (15).</p> |
