Elevations or studs are elastically deformable under bearing pressure. They are distributed over one or both surfaces of a plate or length of rubber, or rubber-type synthetic material, serving as bearing to support structures or structural components. The elevations are in the form of cylindrical units (4) of circular cross-section. Their height is pref. a fraction of their dia. When not loaded, the open end face in a peripheral area (24) pref. slopes at an acute angle to the plate surface. Work and costs involved in production are considerably reduced, without loss of effectiveness.
|
