PURPOSE:To mount the turn signal to a part other than a steering shaft by detecting a turning direction of the steering shaft with a contactless switch. CONSTITUTION:As a mobile part 18 is turned clockwise with a lever 17 of the turn signal body 3 mounted at the bottom of a steering wheel handle, a rod 26 is engaged with a cam 21a, and with the movement of the shaft 24 at the bottom of the cam section to the right, the circuit selection switch SR is turned on. With the successive turning of the steering wheel 2 clockwise, the contactless switch 8 comprising a magnet 9 provided on a hub 2' and a reed switch 10 on a body 3 detects the turn- ing. When the steering wheel is returned after the right turn, detecting the movement, a solenoid 25 is driven to retract the rod 26 so that the mobile part 18 is turned to the neutral position with a turn spring 20. At the same time, the shaft 24 returns and the circuit selection switch SR is turned off. |
