Locating central hole for optical fibre plug - where liq. in rotating body forms paraboloid precisely with central hole

A central hole is produced in a rotating body by adding to a hollow body mounted on a rotating table a thermo- setting liq. to such an extent that, at a set speed of rotation, the liq. forms a hole of required dia. at the centre of rotation, and by then curing the liq. Method is suitable and simple for making optical fibre connecting plug with the required precision in locating centrally a fine glass fibre.
