Electrolytic hydrogen prodn. - using surplus energy from farmyard manure gas driven engines

The Parent Patent No.2924387 described the use of methane produced in farmyard manure gas generators for fuel in IC engines, driving an electric power generator. During the night, when electric power is not required, H2 can be produced in electrolytic cells by the surplus electric energy. The H2 could be stored in metal hydride accumulators and used as fuel for motor vehicles.
