The integrated circuit has mutually isolated source and drain regions connected by a large number of channels. The channels contain at least one non-linear component. The source and drain regions are mechanically inseparable. Each channel may contain two same-sense non-linear components. The cross-section of any channel at its active part is less than a given area. The active zone of each non-linear component is less than a given area. The number of channels is of the order of one million or one million million. The channels are conductors of electrons or holes or ions or neutral atoms or molecules. If electrons or holes are conducted then the channels are inorganic or organic semiconductors, e.g. Schottky or tunnel diodes.
