Power control for IC engine - automatically corrects for load fluctuations to obtain constant speed

The I.C. engine power control activates a pattern appropriate for a heavily-operated accelerator pedal when the position of the accelerator pedal is constant and the speed of the engine is changing with decreasing speed. A pattern appropriate for a weekly-operated accelerator pedal is actuated when the speed is increasing. A pulse generator activates a comparator when the accelerator pedal position has not changed during a specific period. The comparator activates the appropriate patterns in the control unit. The comparator is connected to an addition/subtraction stage located between the control unit and position sensor of the acceleration pedal.
