<p>The tool for loosening or tightening nuts has a housing (1) accommodating worm wheel (3) seated in two bushings of the housing. One of the axle stubs of the worm wheel is extended protruding from the housing in form of a square stub (7) onto which a socket fitting the nut to be loosened or tightened can be attached. The worm wheel is in mesh with worm (2) with its two axle ends seated in bushings (4,5) of the housing. One of the axle ends protrudes from the housing and terminates in a square stub on which a handle is applied to rotate the worm and consequently the worm wheel (3) hereby loosening the nut. The housing (1) has an extension (9) with a slot (10) into which a bolt (11) engages providing a fixed point preventing the housing from turning in opposite direction when the tool is used for loosening a tight nut or contrarywise.</p> |
