The invention relates to a method and arrangement for keeping temperature constant in the whole or a part of a locality in a building, where the roof construction comprises a plate structural floor 3 of e.g. concrete having parallel channels 2 through which tempering air is passed between the surroundings and the locality in one of two directions. The purpose of the present invention is to collect the heat content of air which has been heated by persons and/or machines and electric lights, respectively, but which air is otherwise used and must be ventilated away. By means of the invention, the heat ascending towards the underside of the ceiling construction in a locality may also be collected, which would otherwise escape by losses through the roof construction or must be ventilated away. A further possibility of the invention is to collect the amounts of heat generated by solar radiation on the sealing layer of the roof construction. By means of the invention, not only tempered air is supplied to the locality, but also fresh air, and by the invention a continuous air exchange is achieved in the locality without draught or other inconvenience. The method providing said advantages consists in bringing the plate structural floor 3 to work as a regenerative heat exchanger by changing the direction of flow of the air through the structural floor. The channels 2 in the structural floor are thereby connected to the inner of the locality via a valve device 10 as well as pipes and blowers 12 and 23 such that during a certain period of time one 23 of the blowers 12, 23 draws air from the surroundings through the channels and into the locality, while during a following period of time, preferably of same length, the other blower 12 draws air from the locality and out through the channels 2 to the surroundings. <IMAGE> |
