摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To keep the tractive effort constant and to improve the adhesion characteristic by controlling an armature current of the main motor so that it corresponds to torque proportional to the quantity of movement of the axial load of each truck to make the tractive effort of the entire locomotive the same as one determined before compensation. CONSTITUTION:The current pattern IS is given to the axial load compensator WC by the current limiter CLP to provide the signals IM1, IM2 to which a fixed current setting conversion has been applied by the compensator WC. And signals are given to the thyristor choppers CH1, CH2 of the respective main motors M1, M2 through the pulse modulator PM and power amplifier GA. The respective main motor currents are detected by the DC current transformers DCCT1, DCCT2 and are converted into current signals by the voltage/current converters V/I-T1, V/I-T2. The current signals are negatively fed back to compare themselves with the command current IM1, IM2, and the current flow rates of the choppers CH1, CH2 are controlled by a deviation signal.</p>
