A tool holder according to the invention comprises two or more part-cylindrical casing pieces 17a, b, which, at their rear ends, are configured with internal flange sections 19 for axial locking relative to the machine housing 10 and which, at their front ends, are provided with internal stop members 18 for positive interaction with a shoulder 16 on the work tool 15. The casing pieces are held together at their rear ends against the machine housing 10 by means of annular springs 22, 23 and are held together separably, at their front ends, with a spring clip 24. The casing pieces 17a, b also have hinge- forming members 29a, b, about which the casing pieces 17a, b are pivoted between their inner, closed positions and their outer, open positions under the action of the springs 22, 23 when the spring clip 24 is open. <IMAGE> |
