PURPOSE:To obtain a hygroscopic exchanger which permits exchanging sensible heat with latent heat efficiently and which has a high refractoriness, by using a paperlike material consisting of mainly potassium titanate fiber as an exchange body for partitioning two kinds of air currents. CONSTITUTION:A paperlike material consisting of mainly potassium titanate fiber is used as an exchange body for partitioning two kinds of air currents to be exchanged with each other. The length of the potassium titanate fiber is 10mu-50mm., preferably, 20mu-5mm. and, more preferably, 30mu-500mu. The paperlike material is obtained by adding a bonding agent to fiber consisting of mainly potassium titanate, and papering the resulting mixture. |
