METHOD FOR OBTAINING OF HYBRID SEEDS FROM PLANTS< ESPECIALLY PEPPERS

The pepper plants are produced by hydridisation to give a guaranteed 100 percent purity of the hybrid F1 seed. The procedure consists of crossing female plants which have been normalised by phenotype, this effect being produced by exposure to an ionising light source, such as ultra-voilet, and by increasing the temperature of growth. The growth is stimulated by the use of bio-chemical and by changes in plant nutrition. The results are combined with a male sterility which has been artificially produced by gametocytes and also female plants of allelomorphic type.
