PURPOSE:To contrive to conserve energy consumed by a boiler, by detecting hot- water supplying condition by a flow switch and controlling combustion of boiler. CONSTITUTION:Boiler water region 4 surrounding a heater 3 is formed at an upper portion of boiler body 1 and a hot-water reserving region 7 continuous with the water region 4 and lower in temperature than the water region 4 is formed at a lower portion of a boiler body 1. Upward of heater 3, there is provided a thermostat 8. Ports 9, 10 are disposed respectively at an upper portion and at a lower portion of body 1, and water circulating pipe 11 is connected between these two ports 9 and 10. A pump 12 is provided at a portion of the circulating pipe 11, which is also provided with water supply port 15 and hot-water supply port 14 with flow switch 13. With such an arrnagment, hot-water flow from hot- water supply port 14 can be detected, and operation of boiler can be so controlled that high- temperature combustion is effected at the time of supplying hot water while low- temperature combustion is effected at the time of stopping supply of hot water. Therefore, it is enabled to obtain an energy conserving boiler having a high heat absorbing efficiency. |
