Reduced vibrations of the two-pole rotor of the dynamoelectric machine is achieved by separating groups of laminations with the object of lowering their thermally-induced interaction. The spacing of the groups of laminations is controlled by the axial clearances using aluminium casting of bars in the slots of the laminations forming beads outside each group of laminations. When extruded, copper bars form the winding then the groups of laminations are secured by dipping in an epoxy or lacquer bath. The lamination groups (12) are carried by the shaft and feature conductor bars (16) of aluminium which form the spacers (18). The end rings (32) and fan blades (34) are cast at the same time as the conductors.
|
