PURPOSE:To achieve an easy adjustment of static convergence when changing a focus voltage, by providing a pair of correcting magnets attached rotatably to the outer wall of a neck and each having four poles. CONSTITUTION:An electron gun 26 of an integral structure is accommodated in a neck portion 25 of a picture tube. Between a third grid 263 of the electron gun 26 and the inner wall of the neck portion 25, is provided an annular magnetic body 32 which may be magnetized to 2-12 poles. Furthermore, the outer wall of the neck 25 has thereon four magnetic poles, and is also provided with a pair of correcting magnets 33 attached rotatably with respect to the neck 25. Accordingly, when the correcting magnet 33 is mounted on the magnetic body 32 after magnetic poles capable of adjusting the static convergence and color purity have been formed, it is possible to easily adjust the static convergence and color purity resulted from differences in preset valve of a focus voltage and/or in tube type. |
