Surface finishing method forming wood texture feature on the surface of Al or Al alloys was carried out through following 1st and 2nd processes. 1st process was to form a Barrier type film appearing wood texture feature on the surface of A1 or A1 alloys by electrolysis treatment. Then the materials produced by 1st process was colored by the 2nd process, which was to form a colored anodic oxidation film on the surface of the material produced by 1st process under the direct current(EDC) higher than √2.EAC and lower than the alternative current(EAC) in the electrolyte.
