PURPOSE:To enable to apply pressure efficiently to the ink by providing a porous filter in a path for conducting the ink into an ink chamber and means to apply prearranged pressure from an ink supply side to the direction of said filter. CONSTITUTION:In the ink jet recorder consisting of the ink chamber 15 in which the ink 16 is stored, a piezoelectric, element 11 applying pressure to the ink 16 in the ink chamber 15 on an electric signal, a nozzle 17 which makes the ink 16 of the ink chamber 15 fly onto a recording paper by the said pressure, etc, the porous filter 19 such as a sintered stainless filter or the like is provided on the path which conducts the ink 16 to the ink chamber 15. In addition, it is so arranged that pressure H may be applied on an ink supply port 18 in the direction to the ink chamber 15. As a result, smooth ink supply is realized and almost all of pressure generated by the deformig of piezoelectric element 11 rests in the direction of nozzle, thus eliminating pressure loss. |
