<p>The cradle frame is used to transport a tank of e.g. oil, also supporting the tank in a raised and tipped position on site. It has an approximate through shape in major elevation with a pair of retractable legs at each end. The trailing legs are telescopic, hooks on the trailing post and the boom being used in two stage handling by lorry mounted crane. The two hooks are now replaced by one (102) on a pivotable 'L' shaped member (101). Initially the leg (101a) projects vertically above the boom (100a,100b) by the trailing post, projecting down from an inboard boom position after the 'L' shaped member (101) pivots 180 degrees. Cotter pins (103) secure the member in either position.</p> |
