The pump is used for emptying liquids from containers and is screwed directly onto the container. The threaded closure (1) and cylinder (3) are formed in a single casting and are mutually perpendicular. The pump is operated by a trigger (8) connected by a pivot to the plunger (4) and pivoting also about an axis (12) at the upper end of the trigger. To activate the pump the trigger must be pressed at its upper end at the same time as the end of the plunger is pressed in the direction shown by the arrows so that the action is childproof. |
