A pram construction comprises a scissors-type running frame 3 having longitudinal side members 2 each provided with a slot 5 near one end and carrying an upstanding tongue 6 near its other end. A pram body 1 has pins 4 engaging in the slots 5 and carries press-operated locks 9 for receiving the tongues 6 on the members 2 to releasably connect the body 1 to the members 2. Each lock has a release button 10 and a lifting handle 12 positioned adjacent to the button 10 to enable simultaneous operation of the button and lifting of the body.
