The mould forms a hollow container (1), cubical in shape. It includes a tube (5) extending rearwards and acting as a guide for a handle (4). Inside the container, the end of this handle is fitted with a plate (2) and terminates in a cone (3). The earth is compressed into the open end of the container, while pushing the plate and handle to the bottom of the mould. When full, the external part of the handle is pushed and the completed ball of earth is ejected; its top surface includes a cone-shaped seed planting recess.
