PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of usage convenience by cutting roll paper from a paper feed part into a length, required for transcription of a picture image formed on a sensitive unit before generation of a trouble, to be fed when the document conveying trouble is detected. CONSTITUTION:When a document conveying trouble is detected in an automatic document circulating conveyer 50, a sheet, fed from roll paper 31 or 32 in a paper feed part 30, is cut by a cutter 41 into a length necessary for transcription of an electrostatic picture image formed on a sensitive unit drum 2 through an optical system before generation of the trouble. And transcribing a toner picture image on the sensitive unit drum 2, developed by a developing device 6, by a transcription charger 7, the sheet is discharged onto a paper discharge tray 48 via a fixing device 43 while suspending the copying action thereafter. Thus it is required for the operator to process only the trouble of a document, and usage convenience improves. |
