<p>PURPOSE:To enable to optionally set a steering characteristic of the rear wheels relative to the amount of steering of front wheels by providing an operating member turning on an axis through the movement of a nut and a control rod capable of moving along a guide while engaging its head section with the guide of the operating member. CONSTITUTION:An operating member 51 turning on an axis through the movement of a nut 47, and a control rod 43 fixed to a rear wheel steering bar 21 and projected forward and capable of moving along a guide 54 while engaging its head section with the guide 54 of the operating member 51 are provided. In this construction, the rotation of an input shaft 20 is converted into a movement of the nut 47 in front and rear directions by a ball screw 46, the movement of the nut 47 being converted into the rotation of the operating member 51 by a cam 50. By the rotation of the operating member 51, the rear wheel steering bar 21 moves in right and in left directions and steers the rear wheel. The steering characteristic of the rear wheel relative to the amount of steering the front wheel can therefore be optionally and easily set by changing the form of the cam 50.</p> |
