<p>A solar heat collector consists of a paraboloid mirror with a paraboloid curvature. Its opening is covered by a glass plate with a heat exchanger in the centre within the focal line of the mirror. The heat exchanger is made of copper tubes, wound to a hemispherical shape which rests with its plane base on the glass plate. A pump supplies a heat carrier medium first through a tube around the mirror periphery and then through the heat exchanger, which is also equipped with a thermostat. This solar heat collector has a much better efficiency than conventional devices and supports the heat exchanger in a handy way.</p> |
