<p>The cast prod. travels along a roller track below a pair of rails on which a flame cutting trolley travels. The trolley is clamped onto, and moves with the cast slab; and the track is reciprocated in the longitudinal direction so the flames of burners on the trolley do not hit the rollers forming the track. The trolley carries a fume extn. fan and filter, plus a fume extn. duct with an inlet located underneath the track and supported by a frame mounted on the trolley. The fume extn. duct is pref. connected to the fume extn. fan by a flexible joint. The fume extn. appts. is securely fixed on the trolley.</p> |
