The rectifying equipment for rod or bar material incorporates twospaced roll stations each comprising an opposed pair of rotatable rolls of respectively concave and convex surface section, co-operatively arranged and drivable to receive bar material with curvature to be straightened. An intermediate guide stage comprises a number of spaced movable guide tubes co-operatively arranged in the path between the roll stations. It effects supplementary straightening action as rotating bar material passes between the roll stations.
