The length of pipe is thrust in a borehole between a domestic connection and a main duct sited at a distance, and constantly extended by additional pipes while being moved forward. A cap on its leading end is engaged by a draw medium led to the rear and held under tension up to the pipe length connection. The draw medium is soted to run over the upper side of the length of pipe. There may be an additional draw medium on the underside pref. in the form of a sliding strip. The process is accelerated, with no need for loosening a cable each time a new pipe is inserted, leading it through the new pipe and stretching it again.
