The arrangement is intended for securing a hollow-section axle support member to a hollow-section vehicle frame member via a rubber buffer vulcanised to a sheet metal outer jacket and to a metal core. A flanged bush fixed to the frame contains a nut and bears on the core which, together with the buffer, is contained in a recessed portion of a bracket and secured to the bush by a screw bolt engaging the nut. The bush bears on a shoulder, in a recess in the core and encloses a standard hexagon nut. The inner diameter of the bush fixing flange is greater than its portion fixed in the core recess whilst its outer dimensions are greater than its downwardly projecting length.
