PURPOSE:To provide an aqueous ink suitable for writing and stamping of which compatibility with a plastic substrate is enhanced and deficiency such as smearing is eliminated by incorporating beta-cyclodextrin as a component. CONSTITUTION:About 0.2-15% of (a) beta-cyclodextrin being a cyclic oligosaccharide comprising seven D-glucopyranose unit cyclically linked by alpha-1,4 linkage, (b) a coloring agent such as erythrosin, Eosine GH, Phthalocyanine Blue, Rhodamine or carbon black, (c) water and (d) a water-soluble org. solvent for controlling evaporation e.g., ethylene glycol, triethylene glycol or propylene glycol, are compounded to obtain an objective aqueous ink. |
