The child's bicycle comprises a chain guard (4) which covers the entire chain (9) on the outside. The rear end of the guard is secured near the rear axle, whilst its forward end is fixed (12) to two frame tubes (1,2) via angle brackets (3). On the frame side, the guard is closed by a vertically extending plate (10) arranged rearward of the crank shaft (7) bearing (6) between the chain wheel (8) and the frame. The upper end of this plate is bent outwards (11) and has a screw (12), which fixes the guard to the saddle support tube (2), passing through it, whilst its lower end engages the inwardly flanged rim of the guard.
|
