<p>Protection from excessive loss of heat is provided by a covering, esp. for swimming pools and roofs of buildings. This covering consists of a series of surface elements which may be connected along their edges. These elements are made of flexible material, and incorporate inflatable hollow chambers (17), pref. a number of these, all interconnected. Each may have a side (16) connection pipe socket (19) on each side (16) facing another on an adjacent element. One of these may be connected to a collector duct attached to a supply of compressed air. This is simple and inexpensive, readily adaptable, and easily fitted to existing structures.</p> |
