<p>The hand-guided scythe-type lawn mower has a housing for a motor driving a horizontally working cutting tool. In the front region of the housing, away from the operator, and in front of the motor, there is an arc shaped ejection opening above the cutting tool. A grass catcher has a guide channel, which connects with the ejection opening and is directed from this upwards and backwards over the motor to the operating side. A grass box rests on the housing and forms a grass collection area behind the motor. The grass box (10) completely encloses the motor (4) in a bell-shaped manner around and above and forms the guide channel (16). The grass collection area (23) is around the motor (4) and the guide channel (16).</p> |
