<p>A projectile (3) is fired on a ballistic track (1) in the direction of a chosen target (5), from a ground station having a location device (4). With the help of the command steering, the projectile (3) can be diverted from the original ballistic path (1) and steered onto the target distance (15) on the reference azimuth. The further follow up of the projectile corresp. to the target movement, is computed by the difference measuring method. The antenna of the locating device (4) is chosen as the reference point, and the deviations of the projectile (3) relative to the target (5) are controlled against zero. The track or path, on which the projectile (3) is steered into the target, can be visualized as an imaginary sighting line which, dependent on the position of the projectile, its elevation and the target distance, exhibits various geometric shapes, and is determined by a calculator. The projectile (3) can be controlled to match target deviations in the azimuth, dependent of the geometric shape of the sighting lines (6,7,8).</p> |
