The transporter is for bolts, nuts, etc. between processing stations. It consists of a carriage, moving to- and fro, with grab units, and scissor-like levers, with grabs at one end, and actuators at the other end. Springs actuate the levers in one direction, and there is an opening/closing unit for the levers with grabs. A control slide (81a-d) has a cylinder with piston (86), actuated by a cam (48). The cylinder space is connected to the hydraulic cylinder of the grab unit. The cylinder also has a spring-loaded back pressure valve, actuated by the piston, with the valve housing being connected to the main feed pipe of the hydraulic system. During the last part of the active piston stroke, the back pressure valve is opened, and the cylinder space is connected to the main feed pipe.
