摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to generate the maximum output torque without the slip of wheels by controlling the output torque in advancing a railcar not to cause the slip of the wheels, and an engine rotating speed correspondently to output rotating speed not to exceed an allowable output torque. CONSTITUTION:At the advancing operation of a railcar, the output of an engine rotating speed detector 12 is converted through a F/V converter 19, and then input to function converters 21, 45. The output of the function converter 21 is fed out to a comparator 25 in a ordinary state, and the output of the function converter 45 is also fed out to the comparator 25 because a A contact switch 44 of a relay 39 is closed when a slip detector 88 has detected the slip of wheels, and the comparator 25 compares the output of an output shaft rotating speed detector 13 with a signal converted through the F/V converter 44 to obtain deviation between them. The deviation signal is then adjusted through a PID adjusting apparatus 27, and fed to a minimum value selector 29 to select the minimum value of the outputs of a notch control lever 18 and of a one notch setter 40. A solenoid 32 of a proportional electromagnetic valve is thereby controlled to control a speed change gear for obtaining allowable output torque.
