The television receiver has a series of touch controls for programme channel selection, etc. Each touch control comprises two spaced concentric electrodes (2, 6) printed on one side of an insulating plate (1). The inner electrode (2) is coupled via a hole (3) through the plate (1) with a conductor (4) on the reverse side of the plate (1) extending to the edge of the latter. The outer electrode (6) and the conductor (4) are coupled to the opposite terminals (5, 7) of a switch. The resistance between the terminals is reduced by touching the inner electrode (2). This actuates the electronic circuit connected to the switch terminals (5, 7).
