PURPOSE:To obtain a wide-band delaying circuit by restoring the upper side band of the FM signal and then increasing the band centeral frequency of the glass delay line. CONSTITUTION:The FM signal received the reproduction and equalization is supplied to input terminal 11 of the delaying circuit. The frequency distribution of this signal has the ruling energy at the lower side band and is then turned into the FM signal having the energy symmetrical between the upper and lower side bands through limiter 12. Then the signal is made to pass through glass delay line 13 with the selected band center in order to secure the ruling passage of both the carrier frequency and the upper side band of the FM signal. With selection of such band center, the frequency of the band center increases naturally. Accordingly, the passing band is increased. Then the FM signal passed through limiter 13 is returned to the FM signal having the symmetrical upper and lower side bands through limiter 14. In such way, a wide-band delaying circuit using the glass delay line can be obtained in a simple way. |
