<p>The rotary engine is operated by steam expansion. The engine has no external valves or timing gear. This compact engine rotates in one direction and it is started without external aids. An epitrochoidal chamber is formed which is symmetrical to a first axis. Two chambers are formed, partitioned by ribs. The rotor rotates eccentrically realtive to the first axis on a crankshaft so that the rotor carries out planetary movements about the first axis. Valves within the rotor are arranged concentrically around the axis of rotor rotation.</p> |
