PURPOSE:To lower the probability of false bearing detection and also to miniaturize a unit by receiving only a radio wave of an assigned pulse repetitive priod, by finding the width of the received beam as to a peak reception level and then by making a decision by a comparison with normal beam width. CONSTITUTION:Receiving amplifier 41, having reception bearing sections and pulse-repetitive-period filters assigned by computer 43, stores maximum reception levels of respective reception bearing sections, having passed through filters, among received electric power levels for one round of rotary bearing antenna 1 so as to obtain received electric power for one round of antenna 1, which is converted 42 into video signal C, so that computer 43 will perform false bearing elimination processing. In this case, peaks 61 and 62 of the received electric power are detected and reception bearing sections at constant level lower than the reception level at that time are found at both leading and trailing edges of the peak so as to obtain reception beam width thetai, which is compared to the normal beam width, thereby obtaining output D with false bearings removed. |
