PURPOSE:A titled nozzle of superior oxidation resistance, adrasion resistance and hot softening characteristic consisting in being formed by the specific composition of graphite, alumina. silica, feldspar or pottery stone and ferrosilicon. CONSTITUTION:A compound containing 3-55 natural or manmade graphite in wt%, 30-80 alumina contg. 65% Al2O3, 0-50 molten quartz contg. >=95% SiO2, 1.5-30 total of one or two kinds of feldspar or pottery stone contg. at least >=2.5% aldaline component, and 0.5-20 ferrosilicon contg. 50-90% silicon is prepared. This is added with an organic binder such as tar pitch or phenolic resin and the mixture is granulated to 0.1-3mm.. After the granules are molded by a rubber press, the molding is fired at 1,000-1,400 deg.C. It is equally well to add one or more kinds of silicon carbide, aluminum titanate, cordierite, boron carbide, borax and boric acid as aggregate. |
