Auto ceiling panel and its process of manufacture wherein on the ceiling side of a first foamed plastic continuous bubble type layer having a porous skin on its interior side surface is adhesively bonded or thermally fused a second foamed plastic layer with numerous small diameter holes therethrough; and a third foamed plastic layer with larger diameter holes is thermally fused on the ceiling side of the second foamed plastic layer sandwiching a metal lath which is inserted between the second and third foamed plastic layer.
