This device for applying liquid comprises a container body (3, 5) surrounded by an apron (2) and ending towards the top in a neck (7). In the open upper part of the body, forming this neck (7), a shoulder (15) supports a hemispherical piece (4) made in a sintered porous synthetic plastic resin, which is non-deformable and non-flexible, having a well metered porosity with pores which are interconnected in all directions. Liquid is located inside the body of the container and passes through the pores of the resin piece (4) by capillary action when the device for applying liquid is inverted. The end upper part of the neck (7), above the shoulder (15), has a flared part (17) establishing a circular collector channel (19) recovering the surplus liquid when the applicator device is no longer upturned. Hence, the liquid returns into the body (5) through the pores of the hemispherical piece (4). A lid (9) is screwed (11, 21) in a leaktight manner around the neck (7) of the container. <IMAGE> |
