The invention relates to a process for the preparation of an agglomerate, especially by rolling a particulate material into spheres, characterized in that a fibrous material is incorporated in the agglomerate before, during or after shaping it. The particulate material is preferably an inorganic substance, especially an ore, and more especially an iron ore of the oxide type, while the fibrous material is composed of mineral fibres, especially rock wool, such as diabase wool, and/or of glass fibres. |
